Pay

Salaried Grade 14
$120,200 - $141,500 / year, depending on experience and qualifications
The base salary range represents the starting and expected pay for this position. Actual salaries may vary and, in some cases, may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.


Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (this position may require extended hours at times on 2nd or 3rd shift in a 6-day/24-hour operation).

Job Summary

McKee Foods Corporation is seeking an HR Manager for Collegedale Operations .

  • Responsible for all aspects of human resources related to Collegedale Operations
  • Develop people strategies and initiatives that align with short and long-term strategies and the McKee culture
  • Manage performance development including training programs, feedback processes and career planning
  • Champion organizational effectiveness activities including the coaching and development of leaders
  • Provide consultative support to senior leaders that supports their functional initiatives
  • Apply expertise in HR-related legal compliance to educate leaders and the workforce to maintain compliance
  • Lead the Collegedale Operations HR team comprised of HR Business Partners, Employee Health Services, Safety, Communications, and Fire Safety

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field
  • At least 5+ years in the Human Resources field
  • Experience providing the requisite people strategies to optimize a Lean/continuous improvement culture and the development of improvement-related skills (i.e. problem-solving, visual management, etc.)
  • Demonstrated skills in developing effective business strategies, project/change management and facilitation
  • Expertise in positive cultures and related practices that promote psychological safety and engagement including processes that drive engagement and retention (including a spectrum of survey tools)
  • Basic knowledge of managing budgets
  • Demonstrated ability to lead collaborations that develop safety strategies with high levels of team member involvement, systems for safety prevention and corrective actions, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Experience utilizing best practices related to leadership effectiveness and workforce development, feedback practices, approaches for total rewards and positively addressing employee relations issues, including methods for tracking results
  • Strong consultative skills related to hiring practices (including onboarding) with extensive ability to collaborate with hiring managers and staffing resources
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with working partners; including superiors, peers, and employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to accept, facilitate, and implement change
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Willing to travel as required (minimal)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Human Resources Professional certification (e.g. SPHR or SHRM/SCP)
  • 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Mid-level to upper-level leadership in Human Resources
  • Extensive experience with managing change
  • Experience in a food processing environment
