Pay

$35.80- $41.77 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Plus $1.00 / hr shift premium for 2nd shift hours and $2.00 / hr shift premium for 3rd shift hours

Schedule

Flexibility is key for this role as shifts and hours will vary. This position will cover for other nurses as needed on either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts. The department is closed one hour before sunset on Friday until one hour after sunset on Saturdays. This position will require nurses to attend staff meetings, periodic trainings, etc.

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Employee Health Services Department. In this role, you will provide high-quality healthcare services to our employees, promoting wellness and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.  The RN will respond to medical emergencies, perform post-offer physical examinations, provide case management, assess for return to work, manage the medical aspects of Workers' Compensation claims, and assist in health-related programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Workers’ Compensation case management
• Working as liaison with the safety department
• Administering drug/alcohol tests as necessary
• Conducting pre-employment physicals and drug screens
• Coordinating and participating in various health and wellness programs
• Securing medical files and maintaining HIPAA compliance
• Providing first aid treatment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years nursing experience
• Current Tennessee RN License
• CPR certified
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and handle frequent interruptions
• Computer proficient

Preferred Qualifications

• COHN or COHN-S certification Case Management certification
